Research Report on the Teaching of "Principles and Design of Databases" Course

In the context of big data, this article resents research and practical exploration conducted to improve the literacy and capabilities of the course "Database Principles and Design". The proposed solution involves adopting an online and offline teaching mode to overcome the limitations of time and space, allowing for more innovative and comprehensive content, as well as abundant practical teaching activities. The article outlines the task process and case description for both teachers and students, highlighting the importance of personalized teaching based on students preferences and directions. Course resources are provided on a network platform, and teaching activities are designed to incorporate ideological and political content, as well as practical technologies like NoSQL. AI technology and OBE are utilized to assist teaching. In terms of practical teaching, the article focuses on improving experimental design and curriculum design, as well as optimizing the teaching evaluation system. After three years of implementation, positive teaching effects have been observed. This study serves as a valuable reference for the cultivation of database course literacy and ability in the era of big data.Downloads
