Dr. Xiufen Liu earned her Ph.D. in Fiscal Studies from Zhejiang University and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Zhejiang University. She was recognized as an Outstanding Doctoral Graduate and selected for the 2023 National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talents (Category C). Her primary research focuses on fiscal theory and policy, as well as high-quality economic development, with notable academic achievements.
Dr. Liu has published several papers in high-ranking SSCI journals and serves as a reviewer for esteemed international journals such as Fiscal Studies, Economic Analysis and Policy, and Applied Economics. She has led three provincial-level projects, one postdoctoral talent project, and several municipal-level projects, while also contributing to key national research programs funded by the National Social Science Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation. Nine of her policy recommendations have been adopted by institutions such as the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), offering valuable guidance for policymaking.
Dr. Liu has participated in numerous high-level academic conferences and research training programs. She is proficient in advanced research methodologies, including panel data analysis, spatial econometrics, and numerical simulation. Her research focuses on the interaction between fiscal policy and innovation-driven economic growth, providing critical insights and policy recommendations to support green, sustainable, and high-quality economic transformation.
