Dr. R. Praveen Kumar, obtained his B.E., from Seethai Ammal Engineering College and M.E., from Sona College of Technology, Anna University, He received his PhD degree from Anna University for his research work on Internet of Things. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of ECE, Easwari Engineering College. His research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things, Wireless Networks. Dr. Praveen Kumar is a Member in IEEE, Fellow Member of IETE and he is also a life member in IE and ISTE. To his credit, he has one granted Australian patent and One Indian Patent (Published). He has authored and co-authored 25+ research articles on wireless sensor networks and IoT in leading International Journals including, International Journal of Communication Systems - Wiley, Wireless Personal Communications, etc. He has also presented and published his research papers in 10+ proceedings of International and National conferences. He also authored one book titled “Wireless Communication”. Under his Supervision 1 full time and 4-part time research scholar doing research in Anna University. Dr. Praveen Kumar has organized 15 FDPs/STTPs funded by Institution of Engineers (IE), AICTE and RGNIPM under NIPAM; and has also organized one National Conference. Dr. Praveen Kumar has delivered more than 10 invited talks in various Colleges in Tamil Nadu.
