Haochen Hua obtained his BSc and PhD both from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, and he was a postdoctoral fellow of Tsinghua University, China. Currently, in Hohai Univeristy, he serves as the vice dean of the School of Elite Engineers and a professor at the School of Electrical and Power Engineering. He is a "Young Top Talent" under the National "Ten Thousand Talents Plan", the Chief Scientist of the International Cooperation Project of the National Key Research and Development Program of China, and the Project Leader of the Joint Key Program from National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has been selected as one of the top 2% of global scientists by Stanford University.
